Bumblebee

Finally a Transformers movie I enjoyed.  Bumblebee is a prequel to the rest of the Michael Bay Transformers movies, but doesn't repeat all the problems I had with them.
[li]The robots aren't just a jagged mess of grey metal[/li]
[li]The camera actually pulls back enough to see the robots during combat, so you can follow it[/li]
[li]Although predictable, the story had some emotional depth[/li]
[li]I actually laughed out loud at some of the gags[/li]
The Good: A decent Transformers movie with character
The Bad: The diving bit felt tacked on, I felt there could have been better connected justification
The Ugly: "I like the way they pop" - gross, but fitting

Is Bumblebee worth watching?  Yes.  And don't watch any others.
